We open to a somber looking Dave Chappelle, smoking a cigarette in a park, met by the soothing voice of Morgan Freeman. Here we see the "trance" face so eloquently dubbed by our narrator, the culmination of the talents and from there begins journey on a reminder of why Dave Chappelle will always be one of the great in comedy.

Dave Chappelle has returned in perfect fashion, dropping two stand up specials on Netflix after disappearing from the spot light for the last ten years and after a memorable appearance on SNL following the craziest elections in American history Dave showed us that has still got it when it comes to getting down on the comedy battle ground.

You don't realize how longs its has truly been till you take a look at him, a huskier and full figured man versus the leaner Dave of yesterday. His delivery, more patient and methodical, his approach showing years of experience and consideration but one things remains certain is his lack of fear when diving in on a topic. Whether it be race, sexuality, abuse, or anything that makes you uncomfortable. In that classic Chappelle fashion he takes that same uncomfortable topic and make the source of our enjoyment.
Both specials deliver and while we won't get any remnants of the past like Tyrone Biggum or Clayton Bigsby, instead we get the briefest of looks into the life he walked away for. Talking about what its been like for him the last ten years.

To try and retell any of his jokes would do a disservice to both you and the jokes themselves, and no matter how you hear it it won't be the same as watching the marvelous delivery from the master himself. He will forever be a comedic legend and thats because he is mother f*@king Dave Chappelle.
